Many people generate good income by writing a book. Yes, writing a
good book could be a source of money. Once the book is already in the
market there's a possibility that a writer would be earning money and
may grow bigger through the years because of royalties. But for many
writers, their common question is how to get a book published?
Sure,
the idea is very attractive. Then again, creating a book and having it
published would require a lot of time, effort and in some instances,
money. Many people out there are dreaming to become a writer but they
don't exert much effort and time to become one. Some aspiring writers
always aim to make a book that would immediately run off the shelves.
But hey! even successful writers don't create a book that becomes
best-seller in an instant. Most of their works has been rejected by
small to big publishers; but this didn't stopped them to continue
writing, proofreading and editing their pieces until it becomes a
published book. More than thinking how to get a book published, it's
important to think first how to make a sound and excellent book with no
typographical or punctuation error.
Because you don't really have
to worry about how to get a book published. There are many ways to
publish a book. If you have enough fund, you can resort to
self-publishing. Most writers do this now. Though it requires many
resources, you're assured that your book will be published the soonest
time possible. It's just that you'll be responsible in finding
everything you need such as good proofreader, illustrator and
photographer. The best reward out of this is when your book make it on
top or best-seller level.
Another option is online publishing. If
you don't have resources to self-publish. Internet is the best place to
market your book. E-books are very popular nowadays and there are a lot
of sites where you could market or publish your book. Just exert effort
to look for a reputable website and have your work published there.
Traditional
publishing is the route taken by most writers. Writers usually send a
letter together with the manuscript to a prestigious publishing company.
You're literally mailing off your dreams and hopes when you resort to
this method of publishing. The chance to get your book published is
50-50.
Last is subsided publishing. This is almost akin to
traditional publishing it's just that the writer will give money as a
sort of initial investment so that books could be released in the
market.
